Mel - the tree hugger!
The day had turned cold and grey by this time - but had to show you the confused crocus - and moi... there should have been some Canada geese in the background but it being school holidays, some small children chased them away before we could take the photo!
Sculpture - Kew Gardens
Made of blown glass, not balloons, this sculpture was in the Princess of Wales Pavilion/Glasshouse.
Orchids 2 - Kew Gardens
Crazy day - brilliant sun one minute (as in this photo) and grey skies and freezing cold 5 minutes later.

Ngaere and I visited Kew Gardens last week (half term) - there is an orchid 'exhibition' on - the green houses were really warm and full of orchids...
